The Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Series reveals an incredible expression of Japanese artistry, incorporating a modern sharpness with polished surfaces to bump up the contrast of the dial and add a 'pleasingly multi-dimensional effect', as Seiko puts it. With this particular green GMT, the sharp edge creates a mesmerising play with light, making the watch look almost black in some cases, and vibrant green in others. 

Interestingly, this form of watchmaking from Presage seems like a morphing of Grand Seiko designs, and Prospex-esque style. This 42mm sharp edge welcomes a GMT function into its family that is even more dynamic than its former siblings. The dial incorporates Japanese Asanoha hemp leaves, spiritually giving strength, beauty and health that this watch embodies inside and out. Importantly, the 3 o'clock sub-dial functions as a date keeper, changed using the individually adjustable hour hand, with the 9 o'clock indicating the power reserve.
